Two Guerillas of TIKKO died as martyr in Dersim-Ovacik!

| 02 – 07 – 2010 | According to the information of regional sources and the Dogan News Agency, on June 29th, 2010 during a encounter between state forced and the peoples’ army two guerillas have died as martyr’s in the region Ovacik in the Province Dersim.

The encounter occurred near the country village Kizik Koy which is about 20 km from Ovacik and Kurdesi. It was first said that a encounter between the HKO (Peopels Liberation Army) the military organization of the MKO (Maoist Communist Party) happened. Now it is open that it was two guerilla fighters of TIKKO the military arm of the Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist Leninist (TKP/ML).

In the news it is said that the operation started as a result of denunciation. The encounter between Special Movement Teams and the TIKKO guerillas of TKP/ML lasted the whole night, both of the guerillas fought for hours until their last breath before they died as martyrs.

Further it is said that the operation is over and that the guerillas are at the morgue. The ruling classes that aim to destroy the guerillas through operations are judged to be defeated through the peoples’ resistance.
