DortmundQuer2013_blockadeDORTMUND | 03–09–2013 | On 31st August Nazis organised a march in one of Germany’s cities, Dortmund.  Around 1000  people amongst which also ATIF and YDG were there, have strongly attempted to prevent this march. Despite all the measures the police had taken, the anti-fascist forces were able to barricade the route of the fascists.  After a long and hard battle at these barricades, the police broke down the barricades with great difficulty. During the attack by the police many protesters were injured and detained.  From ATIF and YDG ( New Democratic Youth) 2 protestors were injured and 3 were detained.  Those detained were released several hours later in the evening.

After the protest march the nazis held their march under the protection of the police. The nazis threw expolisives to the protesters.  During this attack, 4 people were injured. One of the injured was a federal MP of the Pirates Party. This attack by the nazis and the passive attitude of the police was condemned by the protestors.
