Peoples’ Action on Climate Change (PACC): An Assembly of Grassroots Movements on Climate Change and Poverty

BANGKOK | 30 – 09 – 2009 | The International League of Peoples Struggles Commission #13 on Science and Technology and the Environment and the Peoples’ Action on Climate Change invites ILPS members to join the conference Climate Conference of Asian Peoples Movements. Details are attached below.

It is co-organized with the Peoples’ Action on Climate Change within its activities in Bangkok from September 28 to October 5, 2009. The activities will be simultaneous with one of the two last major inter-sessional meetings of the UN Framework on Climate Change before a post- Kyoto Protocol climate agreement will be decided in Copenhagen in December 2009. Together with the ILPS are the NGO COD, Philippine Climate Watch Alliance, Sustainable Development Foundation (SDF) -Thailand, IBON International, Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) and Ecumenical Coalition on Tourism.
