INDIA | 20 – 04 – 2009 | Ranchi: Three security forces personnel were killed and five injured when Maoists blew up a CRPF bus after a landmine blast in Barwadi of Latehaar area in Jharkhand. Those killed include three jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). All of them, reportedly, died on the spot. The injured security men have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
The ambush began after a landmine blast triggered by the Maoists. The Maoists started firing after the blast and the police returned the fire. According to the reports, the firing is still continuing.
