“Crimes against humanity committed in Syria”

 Syria ChemicalTURKEY | 23-08-2013 |  After the allegation that in the Guta city near Damascus in Syria over thousand people were massecred,  the People’s Democratic Congress (HDK) said “there will be no winner to this bloody civil war; the loser will however be the innocent people of Syria” during the press conference that they held.

The People’s Democratic Congress Executive Commmittee, has made a press release with regards to the allegations of  over thousand people being killed in a chemical weapons attack on the city of Guta near Damascus in Syria.

The civil war in Syria has cosed thousands of lives so far stressed the PDC (HDK), they stated “We condemn those who carried out this massacre using chemicals, whoever they may be. Those who have committed this crime against humanit, should be exosed sooner or later and should be prosecuted in an international court” .

“The imperial forces are responsible for this”

The PDC stressed that the use of chemical weapons in the Middle-East took place before recalling the massacre of Xalepçe (Halabja) said, “Those who have sold or given chemical weapons to Saddam then, are those who have sold or given chemical weapons to Syria now. The imperial forces behind the civil war in Syria, regardless on which side they are, are those responsible for this situation”.  

“The attitude of the AKP is not sincere”

The PDC, underlining that the AKP government is “insincere” said There will be no winners in this bloody civil war; the loser however will be the innocent people of Syria” and  “The attitude of the AKP is insincere becuase only recently, they remained silent and even gave logistic support to the massacre by Al-Quaida and Al Nusra againt the civil population of Rojava in the Kurdish region of Syria. A politial power that opens its borders to violent gangs and closes them for medical and humane aid, is with its wrong and manipulative policies an accomplice to what is happening in Syria”.

“We are against all sorts of military intervention”

The press conference was concluded with the following statement “As the People’s Democratic Congress, we are and still are against all sorts of military intervention against Syria. We are in solidartiy with the fraternal Syrian peoples for them to live in peace and equiality. Our support is only for those that want democracy, freedom,equality, peace and justice” .
